 It has been estimated that for every one live birth to an African-American woman, three pregnancies are terminated; it is more than double the rate among whites.
Some black leaders say those aborted babies are part of a destroying abortion industry that targets blacks more than any other group.
Recent study reported that in just the last 25 years, 12 million black babies have been aborted.
The matter is that the consequences of those figures will eventually finish up destroying a whole race of Americans.
Some say abortion is the number one killer in the black community. It makes more and more African-American churches to speak out and take a stand for life.
Bishop Daniel Robertson of Richmond's Mount Gilead Baptist Church hosted the conference – an idea he hopes will spread among black pastors.
"We really need to make a statement to the community that we believe the Bible - Thou shall not kill,” Robertson said.
But Robertson's church does more than just lecture against abortion. For one, they promote their members to consider adopting these unplanned children.
